Frequently asked questions
What are the early signs of kidney disease?
Often none at all — which is exactly the problem. By the time tiredness, swelling, poor appetite or changes in urine appear, function is usually well reduced. If you have diabetes or high blood pressure, periodic blood and urine tests are how kidney disease gets caught early enough to act on.
Does kidney disease always lead to dialysis?
