Frequently asked questions
Do I need to fast for a blood test?
For some tests yes — blood sugar and cholesterol panels usually need eight to twelve hours of fasting, water excepted. Many other tests need no preparation at all. You will be told what applies to your specific tests when they are requested.
How do I get my report?
Reports go to the doctor who requested them, and you can collect a copy. You are entitled to your own results; we would encourage you to go through them with the doctor rather than interpret them alone, since a single out-of-range value often means much less than it appears to.
Can I get tests done without a doctor's prescription?
Health checkup packages can be booked directly. For individual tests, please bring a request from a doctor — which test to do depends on what question is being asked.
