What this policy covers

This policy covers this website only. Medical records created when you are treated at the hospital are governed separately by our clinical records and confidentiality obligations, not by this page.

What we collect

The enquiry form on our contact page is the only part of this website that collects information about you. When you submit it, we receive:

• Your name
• Your phone number
• The department you selected, if you chose one
• The message you wrote
• Your confirmation that we may contact you about the enquiry

We ask you not to include medical records or detailed health information in that form, and the form says so. If you do send health details, we treat them as confidential.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not set cookies, and does not use third-party advertising or tracking scripts. Web fonts are served from our own servers rather than from a third party, and the map on our contact page is a link that opens Google Maps in a new tab rather than an embedded map — so no third party is contacted until you choose to open it.

We intend to add basic website analytics to understand which pages are useful. When we do, this policy will be updated to say what is collected before that analytics goes live.

How we use what you send

Only to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to arrange your appointment or care. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone outside the hospital except where we are required to by law.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept only as long as needed to deal with them and to keep a record of our correspondence with you. Where an enquiry becomes part of your care, it is retained under our clinical records policy.
